Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The two-day visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Germany has been completed.

The President of Uzbekistan held talks with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in Berlin.

A meeting was held with the heads of leading German companies and banks.

The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Germany together visited the James Simon Gallery, where they opened a unique exhibition “Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan – from Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire”.

During the visit, 16 intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents were signed in the economy, trade, finance, education, science, and innovation.

Following the events of the visit, German officials saw off the distinguished guest at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent.
