Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 December, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Saint Petersburg.

Governor of Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko and other officials met President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at Pulkovo International Airport.

President of Uzbekistan will attend the informal Meeting of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The leaders of the CIS will exchange views on the state and prospects for development of multilateral cooperation.

The Republic of Uzbekistan will chair the CIS from 1 January 2020.
