Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution ratifying several international agreements.

According to the document, the Agreement on International Road Transport and the Agreement on Air Services between the governments of Uzbekistan and Mongolia have been officially ratified.

These agreements were signed on 24 June 2024, in Tashkent during the first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan.

It is worth recalling that Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh visited Uzbekistan on an official visit from 23 to 26 June 2024.

Under the decree, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport has been designated as the authority responsible for implementing the provisions of these agreements. The Cabinet of Ministers, along with the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, has been tasked with ensuring proper oversight of the agreements’ implementation after they come into force as prescribed by law.
