Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 16 November 2024, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on appointing new members to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The decision was made in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Article 75 of the Electoral Code.

The following individuals have been appointed to the Senate:

- Ziyo Azamat Khamidovich – Director of the Institute of History at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

- Yulchiyeva Munozhatkhon Abduvalievna – Professor at the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts named after Yunus Rajabi.

- Kuchimov Abdusaid Kuchimovich – Director General of the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan.

- Rafikov Kudratillo Mirsagatovich – Chairman of the Federation Council of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.

- Rakhmankulov Mir-Akbar Khoji-Akbarovich – Director of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

- Safoyev Sodik Solikhovich – First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

- Sa’dullayev Alisher Zafarovich – Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

- Turdiev Sodikjon – Chairman of the Board of the "Nuroniy" Foundation for Social Support of Veterans of Uzbekistan.

- Khudaibergenov Tursinkhan Aidarovich – Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
