Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will visit Uzbekistan on a state visit. This was announced by Muratbek Azymbakiev, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to him, the visit will take place at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev from 18 to 19 July.
During the visit, Presidents Sadyr Japarov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold negotiations to discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, as well as prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations.
President Sadyr Japarov will participate in the official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan. An online ceremony will also be held to launch and open joint projects with the participation of the heads of states. A package of bilateral documents is planned to be signed.
As part of the visit, there will also be a Kyrgyz-Uzbek business forum and a forum of rectors of higher educational institutions of both countries.
