“The meeting with you strengthened my confidence that Korea and Uzbekistan are partners that really need each other and can go along the way of constant cooperation for joint prosperity,” the South Korean leader said in his message.

“I sincerely hope that we will continue closely cooperating for successful implementation of the main joint projects discussed with you,” he added.

Thanking the head of Uzbekistan for hospitality, Lee Myung-Bak said he hoped Islam Karimov would visit South Korea at any convenient time, UzA reported.

As reported earlier, the President of South Korea paid a visit to Uzbekistan on 10-12 May.
