Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that he is ready to die for the nation, people, interests of great Uzbekistan.

During a visit to Surkhandarya region, the head of Uzbekistan noted that “big” countries ask the question "Uzbekistan, whose side are you on?"

“Now is a very difficult time. Big countries are now saying: “Uzbekistan, which side are you on? Stop being neutral, come over to this side or that side." They firmly and firmly talk about it,” the President said.

“They themselves say, and their representatives also call for this, saying: “We need Uzbekistan in Central Asia. The population has reached 36 million people, in three or four years it will be 40 million.” They ask: "Which side are you on?" How should one answer such a difficult question?” Shavkat Mirziyoyev asked.

“There is only one answer - I am on the same side, I am ready to die for my nation, people, the interests of great Uzbekistan,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
