President approves treaty on avoiding double taxation with Slovenia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov approved an agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Slovenia on avoiding double taxation and preventing evasion from payment of income and capital taxes.
The agreement was approved with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov from 1 November 2013.
It is worth to mention that the agreement was signed in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on 11 February 2013.
The chairperson of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Botir Parpiev and State Secretary of Ministry of Finance of Slovenia Marko Pogačnik inked the document.
Uzbek leader entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to notify the Slovenian side that Uzbekistan carried out all necessary inter-governmental procedures, which are necessary for entering of the agreement into force.
