Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation of the Pakhtakor Junior project took place in the conference hall at the club. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of FC Pakhtakor Dilshod Karimov, director of the club’s academy Olim Shokirov, and the founder of the project Shukhrat Yusupov.

Dilshod Karimov (deputy chairman of FC Pakhtakor):

In the new season, the chairman of our club set the task of rejuvenating the composition of Pakhtakor, paying more attention to the academy. In order to find new talents as much as possible, the Pakhtakor Junior project is launched. We will strive to attract youth and children to football not only from Tashkent, but from the whole country, and select the best of them for the academy. In our country, much attention is paid to the popularization of sports and football. We also want to contribute to this development. So far, there will be 4 such schools in Tashkent. Schools will open soon in other areas. At the same time, one of the tasks is to increase the brand of the Pakhtakor football club.

Last year, many players were sent to Olimpik. For this reason, it was not possible to strengthen the youth team. Previously, there were problems with places in the academy. We recently built a hostel there, we solved the problem with the dining room. Further work is underway to improve the activities of the academy.

Shukhrat Yusupov (founder of the Pakhtakor Junior project):

Schools will be opened in Yakkasaray, Uchtepa, Shaykhantakhur and Chilanzar districts of Tashkent city.

Gradually we will expand the project. Initially, we plan to cover Tashkent. And then we will move on to other regions. The first schools are expected to open in March. The opening of the first school is planned on the territory of the Dustlik park in Tashkent.

As for the age categories, we will work based on the request. Let’s also look at the results of marketing analysis. At the first stage, we want to involve children from 6 to 10 years old. As for the coaches, we will work together with the Pakhtakor football club. We will announce the names of the coaches later.

Parents will be able to follow the training of school players, changes directly through the platform. The maximum information will be provided there. Everything will be transparent. The most talented children will be accepted free of charge. Also, low-income families will be provided with benefits. Other services are paid.

Olim Shokirov (Director of the Academy of FC Pakhtakor):

We will provide the necessary instructions for organizing and conducting training. The Pakhtakor Junior project will carry out its activities in the same way as the academy. All work is done in unison.

We want to pay more attention to our pupils. We wish to change our activities and prepare more talented players for the main team.
