The Album describes different kinds of Uzbek applied art such as embroidery, ceramics, woodcarving, carpet weaving, golden stitch etc. It also provides with the information on schools in every kind of folk art, craftsmen and their products. The Album is published in three languages: Uzbek, Russian and English.

The Album author is Nargiza Talipova, the Director of the Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan. N. Talipova is the author of a number of scientific publications and books dedicated to the problems of preservation and development of the traditions of Uzbek applied art.

She was awarded with Badge of Honor “20 Anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan”, Silver Medal of the Academy of Art of Uzbekistan and Honorary Diploma “For Contribution to Preservation and Popularization of Folk Decorative and Applied Art of Uzbekistan”, founded by the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs, Fund Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan, UNESCO and Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
