Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank has begun working on the issue of organizing a "Global Money Week" in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held on 22-28 March worldwide.

The Central Bank discussed organizational issues with representatives of commercial banks for this campaign. It is planned that at the "World Money Week" large-scale events will be held throughout the republic, which include contests, educational and entertainment events.

The Central Bank is the coordinator of the events held within the framework of the World Money Week in Uzbekistan.

Global Money Week is an annual global education campaign to raise awareness of finance for children and young people. Countries from all over the world are participating to raise awareness of the importance of financial education and the involvement of children and youth in the financial arena. In 2020, 175 countries were involved in the event.
