Preparations for the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” Summit discussed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official meeting between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the parties held in-depth discussions on organizational matters related to the upcoming “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” Summit.
The talks focused on key aspects of preparations for this important international event, which is set to take place in Samarkand.
Particular attention was given to the development of the Summit’s final documents and the formation of an agenda that reflects the strategic interests of all participating countries.
Both sides emphasized the historic significance of the upcoming Summit, which is expected to mark a new milestone in the development of multifaceted cooperation between Central Asian countries and Gulf states.
The meeting confirmed the mutual interest in further strengthening the partnership and implementing joint projects in trade, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
