Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva met with the Director of the Human Development, Migration, Governance and Peace Directorate of the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission, Erika Gerretsen.

The parties discussed issues of deepening cooperation in such areas as the human development index, implementation of the SDGs, and organization of safe labor migration.

Along with the development of these important areas, there was also an exchange of views on the exchange of practices and experience on issues of social inclusion and economic stability, effective cooperation in the field of education, health care and poverty alleviation.

Attention was focused on the issues of intensifying the work carried out by the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union within the framework of the project of the global program “Inter Pares” to strengthen parliamentarism.
