President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures on expanding scale of construction of affordable apartment houses in Tashkent city in 2017-2021”.

According to the resolution, Joint stock commercial housing-construction saving bank “Poytaht Bank” will be created in the country.

The charter capital of “Poytaht Bank” will be formed at the size of at least 10 million euros. Tashkent city budget will issue 3 billion soums as primary contribution. The bank will also attract resources of legal entities, individuals and foreign investors.

The resolution said that new bank will provide mortgage loans and banking services to individuals and legal entities to satisfy their needs for habitation.

The bank will provide loans to construction companies, which will construct affordable apartment houses and conduct function of the customer in designing and constructing of the houses.

New bank will attract foreign investments and loans, technical assistance of international financial institutes to finance construction of affordable apartment houses.

Poytaht Bank will credit organizations, producing modern, economic, energy saving and demanded construction materials, as well as equipment.
