Power Uzbekistan 2011 exhibition kicks off in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Sixth international exhibition Power Uzbekistan 2011 kicked off at UzExpoCenter in Tashkent on 16 May 2011.

Three-day exhibition has been organized by international exhibition company ITE Uzbekistan, member of UFI, and its British partner ITE Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd.

Power Uzbekistan demonstrates scientific-technical achievements of energy sector and helps to raise business activity for development and support of trade-economic and production relations with the local and foreign enterprises of fuel and energy sector. This year, Power Uzbekistan is organized along with Oil and Gas Uzbekistan – OGU exhibition.

Power engineering is a basic sector of the national economy in Uzbekistan and it is on the brink of important changes as the country is modernizing energy objects. Power Uzbekistan 2011 unites representatives of almost all main direction of energy complex and it will attract interest of professionals and ordinary consumers.

Power Uzbekistan 2011 presents such products as automated management systems, energy technologies and equipment, cables, electricity meters, solar energy equipment, and many others.

Among participants are leading producers and suppliers of equipment for production, transmission and distribution of electricity, producers of energy saving equipment, control systems, etc.

The organizers said that over 30 companies from Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, France, China, South Korea and Japan are participating at Power Uzbekistan 2011.

Main part of the exposition occupies regular participants such as Soyuzeletroavtomatika, Energosoyuz, Global Insuleytor Group (Russia), Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (Germany), SERGI France, and others.

Major part of the companies (70%) represents Russia, which demonstrates great potential of the country in the sector.

Uzbekistan represented by Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshit, ASU Technology, Nano Technology International.

The organizers underlined that participation of foreign and local companies at Power Uzbekistan 2011 helps to further develop local energy equipment market and expand business partnership, as well as implementation of new projects.

Within the exhibition, it is also planned to hold international energy conference titled “Energy-2011: innovation, solutions and perspectives”.

The conference will discuss perspectives of energy sector development in Uzbekistan, innovative solutions for modernization and reconstruction of energy sector, modern energy and energy saving equipment.
