Senate approves agreement between Uzbekistan and Oman
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law of Uzbekistan “On ratification of agreement between Uzbekistan and Oman on basics of cooperation and relations” on 7 May 2010.

The agreement was inked in Muscat, Oman, on 5 October 2009 within the state visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Oman.

The document envisages development of mutual beneficial cooperation between two states in politics, economy, trade, culture, as well as in science, technology, sport and tourism.

The agreement strengthens agreements on exchange of experience in training staff in economy, management, diplomacy and their further training, exchange of teachers, students and researchers.
