Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – In Tashkent, a car accident resulted in the deaths of the driver and an 18-year-old passenger of a Lacetti car.

The incident occurred on July 25 at approximately 00:30 on Shakhrisabz Street in the Mirabad district of Tashkent.

The 19-year-old driver of the Lacetti lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete post on the roadside.

As a result of the accident, the driver and the 18-year-old passenger died at the scene. Three other passengers, aged 19 and 18, were hospitalized.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles causing human casualties). An investigation is underway.
