Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 24 July, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a phone conversation.

During the conversation, they reviewed issues related to the further development of Uzbek-Tajik strategic partnership and alliance.

The Tajik leader warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health and family well-being, and wishing peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.

Special attention was given to the practical implementation of agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan on 18-19 April 2024, particularly in the trade, economic, and investment spheres.

The heads of state also exchanged views on current international issues.
