Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has been nominated as a candidate for President of the United States.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has received notification of Kamala Harris's candidacy for the presidency, as indicated in the official document.

The statement declares that Vice President Harris is now officially a candidate for President of the United States in the 2024 election.

The document also notes that she will focus exclusively on her presidential campaign.

According to the document, Kamala Harris will no longer be a candidate for the position of Vice President.

It is worth recalling that U.S. President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race on 21 July.
