Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – With the support of the Uzbek General Consulate in Bangkok, a Thai business delegation led by Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Busadi Santipithak arrived in Uzbekistan.

The visit of the delegation of Thailand will take from 19 to 25 July, Dunyo news agency reported.

The Thai delegation consists of around 20 representatives from seven leading companies operating in the fields of medicine, tourism, trade, transportation and logistics, and energy.

During their arrival at Tashkent International Airport on 19 July, delegation head Busadi Santipithak stated: “In recent years, we have witnessed large-scale socio-economic reforms taking place in Uzbekistan and the growth of your country’s international stature in the global community. The goal of our visit is to accelerate bilateral political dialogue, expand economic and cultural-humanitarian ties, see the positive changes in the country firsthand, and explore opportunities for cooperation.”

The visit includes planned meetings with Uzbek ministries and agencies, as well as trips to the Samarkand, Jizzakh, Namangan, and Fergana regions. The delegation will also hold B2B meetings with local businesspeople and tour production and trade facilities of local companies.
