Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sadyr Japarov visited the "Khiva Gilamlari" carpet factory.

Established in 2020, the factory produces 4.2 million square meters of carpets and carpet products annually, which are exported to China, Russia, the USA, Kazakhstan, and other CIS countries.

Today, the modernly equipped factory, which utilizes technologies from leading European countries, employs 750 people.

The presidents observed the production process and showroom of the facility, as well as an exhibition of products branded "Made in Uzbekistan."

The relevant ministries and agencies have been instructed to exchange experience, develop cooperation, and enhance trade.
