Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 July, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Haydarov, met with the head of the World Bank’s Global Governance Practice in Europe and Central Asia, Adrian Fozzard.

Adrian Fozzard leads global governance practice in the region and also heads the community of practitioners for climate change management.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to improving the wage system for civil servants and plans to implement necessary measures in this direction. Adrian Fozzard noted the World Bank’s readiness for continuous support and cooperation on these issues. Participants received detailed answers to their questions and discussed possible steps for further development of cooperation.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue and intensify mutual consultations.
