Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the first time in history, the WT Taekwondo Association of Uzbekistan will take part in the Olympic Games with five athletes. This was announced by the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan.

The World Taekwondo Federation WT has updated the list of distribution of tickets to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

Among the participants was the representative of the Uzbekistan national team Nikita Rafalovich, who will compete in the +80 kg weight category. At the end of last year, Rafalovich took sixth place in the Olympic ranking.

Thus, the Uzbekistan taekwondo WT team will be represented at the Olympic Games for the first time by three men and two women.
