Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Committee on Tourism of Uzbekistan Umid Shadiev, during a visit to the Association of British Tourism Organizations in London, met with the commercial director of the association Claire Biddle.

The parties discussed issues of promoting travel of British and European tourists to Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on the formation of new thematic tour routes in Uzbekistan, attracting more British tourists to the country, jointly conducting a PR campaign, road shows, presentations and promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in the UK.
