Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the city of Gulja in the Ili-Kazakh Autonomous Region of Xinjiang (PRC) there is a functioning accordion museum.

The museum is headed by Alexander Sergeevich Zazulin, who was born and raised in this city. His collection includes more than 800 accordions collected from all over the world. The Russian-born local learned from his father how to repair accordions as a child.

The musician notes that he has been passionate about the instrument since childhood. Already in his teens he could repair an accordion of any complexity.

Here you can see a reconstruction of the world's first harmonica (1783), look into the workshop of a Russian harmonica maker, visit a traditional Moscow tavern, and attend concerts of modern performers on the harmonica, button accordion, and accordion.

For more than forty years, Alexander Zazulin collected more than eight hundred accordions, which filled the exhibition hall with an area of more than a thousand square meters.

These instruments come from more than twenty countries, including large and small, modern and more than a century old, including unique antique pieces.
