Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuwait Ayubkhon Yunusov met with the General Director of the Kuwaiti company Star Fruit Co. for foodstuffs, vegetables and fruits by Abdurakhman Surur, Dunyo news agency reports.

Founded in 1991, Star Fruit Co. has been supplying fresh fruits and vegetables to restaurants and five-star hotels in Kuwait for many years. The products are delivered to customers in refrigerators, which allows them to preserve all their taste. The company ensures uninterrupted supplies and has partnerships with suppliers of fruits and vegetables around the world.

During the meeting, information was presented on the benefits created for foreign importers of Uzbek products. Abdurakhman Surur noted that fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan have a unique taste, and expressed his readiness to import cherries and peaches from our country. In this regard, transport and logistics routes for delivering these products from Uzbekistan to Kuwait were discussed.

As a result of the negotiations, cooperation was established between the Uzbek company S-Agro Termiz Orchards and Star Fruit Co. An agreement was reached on the supply of one ton of cherries and 140 kg of peaches from Uzbekistan to Kuwait.

After the meeting, the head of the Kuwaiti company introduced the Uzbek side to the storage conditions for fresh fruits and vegetables created at Star Fruit Co. enterprises.
