Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Krasnodar region is ready to supply grain seeds of its own selection to Uzbekistan. This was stated by the governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, during a meeting with the khokim of the Syrdarya region, Akmaljon Makhmudaliev, in Tashkent.

Kondratyev noted that Uzbekistan is one of the key partners of the Krasnodar Territory. He emphasized that the region is interested in expanding interregional cooperation and strengthening trade and economic ties.

“The main center for grain selection in Russia is the National Grain Center named after P.P. Lukyanenko is located in Krasnodar. Many Russian regions purchase these seeds and get good results. We can supply grains of our own selection to Uzbekistan,” the governor said.

Kondratiev also said that the Krasnodar region plans to increase supplies of meat, dairy and fat-and-oil products to Uzbekistan. “We are ready to supply packaging, food and refrigeration equipment for storing vegetables and fruits, food products,” he added.

Akmaljon Makhmudaliev noted the high quality of Kuban wheat seeds and expressed Uzbekistan’s interest in their supplies. “We are ready to interact with the Krasnodar Territory in all sectors - economic, investment, humanitarian and cultural,” Makhmudaliev emphasized.
