Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the support of the Asian Development Bank, a project to develop a “Strategy for the Protection of Consumer Rights in Uzbekistan” is being implemented in Uzbekistan.

On 27 May, under the auspices of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of Uzbekistan, as part of this project, a meeting was held with Italian expert Giorgio Magistrelli.

Giorgio Magistrelli got acquainted with the work of state and non-state organizations for the protection of consumer rights, discussed the project and shared his experience with the Committee experts.

He also held a seminar for the Committee’s employees, at which he discussed issues of consumer protection, law enforcement practice, legislation and regulation in foreign countries.
