Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan arrived in Tehran to participate in the farewell ceremony for the late President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel: “Together with the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nurdinjon Ismoilov, we arrived in Tehran to participate in the farewell ceremony for the late President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian and other high-ranking officials.”

He added: “On behalf of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, we expressed solidarity with the people of Iran and our deepest condolences.”
