Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- During the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan to South Korea in the city of Sejong, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Justice Khudayor Meliev and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Regulatory and Legal Reform Yang Sung Ho, Dunyo news agency reported.
At the meeting, an analysis of the regulatory impact in both countries, achievements in this area were discussed, and views were exchanged on current issues.
The Regulatory Reform Committee is considered the body that makes the final decision on the development of regulatory policy and reform strategy, identifying and approving the main directions, as well as analyzing the impact of the draft legislation and the practice of law enforcement of the current legislation.
The committee is one of the most important bodies in the rule-making process, providing oversight and coordination of the activities of the entire administration. The committee consists of 21 representatives of the public and private sectors and operates under the presidential administration.
Following the visit, the parties agreed to establish practical cooperation.
