Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan futsal team started AFC Futsal Asian Championship in Thailand with a victory over Australia.

The match ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of Uzbekistan. 

Australia opened the scoring 5 minutes into the match. Wade Giovenali became the author of the goal.

In the 21st minute of the game, the Uzbekistan team scored two goals. Akbar Usmanov and Dilshod Rakhmatov scored goals.

After 15 minutes, Dilshod Rakhmatov recorded a brace, scoring the third goal for the Uzbekistan team.

Tyler Garner scored Australia’s second goal in the 38th minute of the match.

In the second round, on 19 April, Uzbekistan will play against Iraq.
