Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 and 16 April 2024, representatives of 11 universities and other centers of higher education in Spain will visit Uzbekistan as part of a visit organized by SEPIE (Spanish Service for the Internationalization of the Educational System) in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the visit is to give new impetus to mutual academic ties in the context of the growing interest of Uzbek youth in the Spanish language and to create new opportunities for them to obtain higher education in educational institutions in Spain.

In Tashkent and Samarkand, the Spanish delegation will take part in several seminars and will have meetings and networking contacts in several Uzbek universities, and will also be received by senior officials of the Ministry of Higher Education of Uzbekistan and the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation.
