Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan intend to create a joint railway venture.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev approved the initiative to create a joint venture.

It is expected that the railway administrations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will jointly manage the enterprise.

The leaders of the two countries expressed satisfaction with the provision of cargo terminals on the Kazakh-Chinese border and in Uzbekistan on mutually beneficial terms. This will create opportunities for organizing cargo transportation along the China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan route.
