Petroleum Technology Group becomes the owner of UNG Petro

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Petroleum Technology Group has become the owner of the UNG Petro gas station network in Uzbekistan.

According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, Petroleum Technology Group now owns UNG Petro. Previously, these gas stations belonged to the state company Uzbekneftegaz. The network has 78 gas stations now.

At the end of May 2023, the State Asset Management Agency announced the commencement of the process of selecting a consultant for the sale of UNG Petro. However, at that time, the start of accepting proposals was not announced and no information was provided on the results of privatization.

At the moment, there is no official information about the deal itself or its value.

Petroleum Technology Group was incorporated on 4 October 2023 and specializes in business and management consultancy.

The founders of the company are Delta Global Dynamics (1%) and Daniyar Kamilov (99%). The latter also owns 100% of Delta Global Dynamics and is the son of Abdulaziz Kamilov, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and current Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that in 2021, Daniyar Kamilov’s company acquired the former State Security Service building in Tashkent.
