Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A three-year-old girl, left unattended in a family kindergarten in Dustlik district of Jizzakh region, died after falling into an aryk.

According to the data, on 15 February at 9:00 three children left the family kindergarten. At 13:00, the girl was found dead in a ditch flowing on the territory of a farm, approximately 1 km from the kindergarten.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan announced the initiation of a criminal case into the death of a child.

A criminal case was opened under Article 192−11 (abuse of powers by officials of a non-state commercial organization) and under Article 207 (official negligence) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
