Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Some 1,000 new buses will be delivered to Nukus and regional centers of Uzbekistan.

The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on measures to implement investment projects in the first quarter of 2024.

According to this document, the China Development Bank will allocate US$120 million for the purchase of large-capacity buses that will operate on compressed natural gas.

In addition, it is planned to raise US$60 million to update the transport fleet of the Toshshahartranskhizmat enterprise. There are plans to purchase 200 electric buses and related equipment for charging them.
