Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As part of the international exhibition Fashion Style Russia, held in Moscow, the delegation of the Uzcharmsanoat association holds meetings and negotiations with various departments, associations and research centers in order to establish bilateral cooperation relations.

Delegates of the Association visited the Russian Innovative Research and Production Center for Textile and Light Industry and got acquainted with its activities, scientific research and innovative developments in the leather and footwear industry.

An exchange of views took place on the issue of cooperation in conducting laboratory tests in the leather industry and developing innovative solutions for the industry.

The prospects for using the center’s capabilities in the matter of training and retraining of personnel were also considered. The experience of the center in creating an innovative technology park in the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan was studied. During the dialogue, it was decided to develop practical and methodological guidelines for the introduction of innovations that do not yet exist in our country.

The planned technology park will primarily help enterprises in the leather and footwear industry check the quality of products, provide innovative developments when creating new models, improve the skills of specialists, and conduct scientific research.

As part of the exhibition, negotiations were held with the manufacturer of adhesives and PU for shoes, Shtark Chemicals. Preliminary agreements have been reached on the supply of certain types of glue, the production of which has not yet been mastered in our country.
