Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev met with Chairman of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Samad Hasanzadeh.

According to Dunyo news agency, during the conversation, the current state of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, as well as prospects for its expansion, were discussed.

Issues of intensifying the dialogue between representatives of the business circles of the two countries were also considered.

Samad Hasanzadeh expressed satisfaction with the successful work of the joint Iranian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce within the framework of ICCIMA, noting that it plays an important role in coordinating trade and economic cooperation and developing relations between the business communities of the two countries.

The Chairman of ICCIMA expressed his readiness to help attract leading Iranian companies to Uzbekistan in various industries, such as mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, construction, textiles, energy and the production of medical equipment.
