Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A memorandum of cooperation on the development of economic interaction was signed between Bukhara region and the Iranian province of Hamadan.
The delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Umid Shodiev, head of the Tourism Committee, accompanied by Ambassador Fariddin Nasriev, visited the city of Hamadan in Iran, Dunyo news agency reports.
During the trip, a meeting was held with the Governor of Hamadan Province, Aliriza Qasimi.
The governor noted that the historical visits of the President of Uzbekistan to Tehran and the President of Iran to Tashkent and Samarkand serve as a solid basis for improving relations between the two countries.
“As part of these visits, a number of bilateral documents were signed, including a memorandum on establishing direct ties between Bukhara and Hamadan. As a result, our interregional ties began to actively develop,” noted Aliriza Qasimi.
As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on the development of economic interaction between the Bukhara region and the province of Hamadan.
