Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Law “On the Privatization of State Property” was signed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the law, the objects of privatization of state property are state real estate, state shares (shares, shares), state unitary enterprises and institutions.

State property may be privatized in whole or in part, except that it is not subject to privatization in accordance with the legislation on the management of state property.

The State Assets Management Agency is the authorized state body in the field of privatization of state property.

The starting price of privatized state property is determined by the authorized state body or its territorial departments.

The privatization process is carried out through auctions, competitive bidding, public invitations to negotiations, competitive dialogue, exchange trading, contribution as a state share to the authorized capital of a business company, contribution of state shares and real estate to the authorized capital of a business company, lease with the condition of subsequent privatization .

The law comes into force three months from the date of official publication.
