Uzavtoyol constructs, reconstructs roads for 370.6bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzavtoyol state joint stock company (Uzbek Motor Road) carried out road construction, repair, maintenance, contractor’s work and purchased equipment for 370.6 billion soums in 2009, which is up by 18.7% year-on-year.
The company said its divisions conducted works on construction and reconstruction of motor roads of international and state importance with the extension of 171 km in line with the investment programme of Uzbekistan in 2009.
Uzavtoyol carried out construction works at motor ways with total extension of 138 km in line with the presidential resolution “On further measures on further development of production and social infrastructure”.
About 687.8 km roads were repaired to execute resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On programme of repair of motor roads of international and state importance for 2009”.
Uzavtoyol divisions also repaired about 404.8 km long motor roads of local use in the reporting period.
