Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Two chemical plants in Uzbekistan completed modernization of capacity for US$50 million, local Internet edition reported.
Gazeta.uz reported that Maxam-Chirchiq OJSC and Ferghanaazot OJSC carried out reconstruction of ammonia units.
The report said the reconstruction allowed to stabilize work of units and decrease energy consumption, as well as increase production capacity of nitric fertilizers - ammonium nitrate and carbamide.
The projects were financed due to resources of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan, China Development Bank, foreign direct investments, Uzhimprom Development and Support Fund, loans of Uzbek banks and own resources of the enterprises.
