Uzbek leader opens new monument in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov participated in the opening of the monument “Vatanga Qasamyod” (“Oath to the Motherland”) in Tashkent on 12 January, which is located at Jasorat Park.
The monument was raised on the initiative of The Uzbek leader. 12-meter monument was created by Ravshan Mirtajiev. The monument displays soldier, making an oath and mother blessing the son.
The representatives of the Oliy Majlis, Cabinet of Ministers, ministries and departments also laid flowers to the pedestal of the monument.
