Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Consul General of Uzbekistan Alisher Salomov met with the Deputy Head of the Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Rashid Abdullah Al Kathir, Dunyo news agency reported.

The parties discussed the current agenda of Uzbek-UAE relations. The Emirati side highly appreciated the actively developing cooperation with Uzbekistan.

At the end of the meeting, the Emirati side expressed gratitude to Alisher Salomov for the productive five years of work spent as Consul General of Uzbekistan in Dubai.

Alisher Salomov was appointed head of the Consulate General in January 2019.
