Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Umida Omonova from Uzbekistan took first place at the Asian Chess Championship among youth and teenagers in the blitz category.

The tournament takes place in the city of Al Ain (UAE). 650 chess players from 41 countries are participating in the championship.

Umida Omonova from Uzbekistan took first place in the blitz category.

Her compatriot Davron Sharipov took second place, and Malikahon Djumaeva and Khusnorahon Khusnitdinova took third place.

In 2018, Umida Omonova already became the Asian champion in blitz among juniors under 12 years old.
