Global collaboration, China leads in alternative energy innovation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first Chain Expo in China was held in style, showcasing a great picture of clean energy and the use of photovoltaic, wind energy and environmental technologies as the basis for building a green future.
In the new practices, organic crops are planted under photovoltaic panels to achieve “canopy propagation and canopy power generation,” and the “pastoral and solar energy complementarity” strategy is implemented in the grasslands of Inner Mongolia to provide an innovative model for the coordinated development of energy and livestock.
Ye Jianqun, CEO of Shuangliang New Energy Technology, noted that during the construction of photovoltaic power plants, dew can drip onto the grass at night, promoting grassland ecology and achieving joint results in green electricity, livestock farming and meat industry.
China’s photovoltaic industry supplies more than 75% of the modules in the global market. Ye Jianqun said that China’s photovoltaic industry chain will lead the world, not only making progress in cost reduction and efficiency improvement, but also expanding into the field of energy storage and deepening cooperation with the international market.
The Chain Expo showcased innovative clean energy projects, including high-altitude wind power and compressed air energy storage. Yang Nan, deputy general manager of Energy China’s South Asia regional headquarters, said the Jixi project in Anhui is expected to realize high-altitude wind power by the end of this year, and that China Energy has core intellectual property rights in compressed air energy storage.
