Uzbek President appoints new minister of agriculture and water management
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov appointed a new minister of agriculture and water management.
Zafar Ruziev will take over the post of the minister of agriculture and water management. Prior to appointment, Ruziev worked as deputy advisor of Uzbek President on human resources.
Ruziev replaced Sayfiddin Ismailov at the post. Ismailov was appointed as acting governor of Jizzakh region in September 2009.
