Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, with the support of the Russian Trade Representation in Uzbekistan, a meeting was held on the application of standards and conformity assessment of the Institute of Oil and Gas Technological Initiatives in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Trade Representation reports.

Representatives of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation, the Russian Institute of Standardization and Uzbekneftegaz JSC took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed the features of the development and implementation of standards in the oil and gas industry, as well as the possibility of applying INTI standards by industry-specific Uzbek enterprises.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to hold regular consultations in early 2024.

On the eve of the event, the Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zlygostev held a meeting with representatives of INTI and the Russian Institute of Standardization on the organizations’ future plans for expanding interaction with Uzbek partners.

INTI was founded in 2020 by the largest oil and gas companies in Russia with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
