Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The World Youth Weightlifting Championships in 2025 will be held in Tashkent. This decision was made at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Weightlifting Federation. The meeting of the organization was held in Qatar.

It was also decided that Ningbo (China) will host the World Championships among adults in 2026. The World Championships will be held in Bahrain in 2024, and in Norway in 2025.
