Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Law enforcement agencies detained 52-year-old Bakhtiyor Kudratullayev, also known as “Bakhti Tashkentsky” and “Bakhti Yangiabadsky” in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the capital city police department.

He has been charged with committing crimes under Articles 165 (extortion on a particularly large scale) and 276 (illegal drug trafficking) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.

Law enforcement officers also detained Dilshod Sharipov and Anvar Mirzakhanov. They are also suspected of extortion (Article 165 (extortion on an especially large scale).

According to the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate, all these individuals are accused of illegally obtaining funds using threats and force. The investigation is ongoing.

Saidaziz Saidaliev, known as “Sayidaziz medical town,” was also recently detained as part of an investigation into an extortion case.
